Strategist

Strategist

As a Strategy Engineer, you analyze, simulate, and optimize the car’s performance over the 3000 km route across Australia. You’ll model energy consumption, weather, and road conditions to define the best speed profile and racing plan, combining data, physics, and software into real competitive advantage.

Modeling & Race Optimization

Predict conditions, plan performance, and drive decisions.

Highlights

  • Prediction modeling & optimization
  • Energy consumption & weather simulation
  • Data analysis & real-time decision support
What you willl do
  • Develop models to predict power generation, consumption, and environmental effects across the full race route.
  • Analyze how weather, elevation, road surface, and aerodynamic factors influence energy usage and speed.
  • Set up and use telemetry data to refine and validate models, improving real-time decision support.
  • Work closely with Electrical, Software, and Aerodynamics teams to integrate physical parameters and component efficiencies.
  • Develop a prediction model to find the optimal consumption and speed, among other features.
  • Develop and test race strategies that balance safety, performance, and energy margin under varying conditions.
